Stockbridge is in the heart of Test Valley, a wide charming and picturesque high street reflecting it's early role as part of a drovers road for sheep or cattle being driven from Wales. You can even still spot a sign in Welsh!
The River Test flows under the high street where you may spot a trout, or you may be more interested in visiting one of the many independent specialist shops. You can find shops selling local produce, arts and crafts and a traditional butchers and deli. There are also art galleries, gifts and clothing stores. The Army Flying Museum is just a ten minute drive from Stockbridge.
