Romsey is a very compact town, making it easy to explore whatever your age or mobility. The Abbey, Visitor Information Centre, King John’s House, Town Hall, Market Place and shops are all within a few minutes’ walk of each other along even ground. And, thanks to recent improvements, the town centre is now virtually kerb-free, with smoother and wider pavements making it easily-accessible for wheelchair and buggy users.
There is a gently sloping road to the Memorial Park, with disabled parking near the entrance. The Park itself is level with wide, sealed pathways throughout.
For more information about accessibility, the Visitor Information Centre will be pleased to help you.
